Scott Janssen

Energy Engineering Manager
John W. Danforth Company

Scott Janssen is the Energy Engineering Manager from John W. Danforth Company in New York. Scott is based out of Danforth’s Albany office, where he manages the Energy Team across New York State and is responsible for evaluating facility improvement measures for energy savings and feasibility. Scott is a Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) and a LEED Accredited Professional (AP). He has 10 years of experience in conducting energy audits and providing energy analysis of building systems. During this time he has been involved in Energy Performance Projects for various markets throughout New York State, including K-12 schools, higher education, municipalities/governments, healthcare and industrial. He graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Scott plays a crucial role serving as the key advisor in the development of project scopes that drive Energy Performance Contracts. He also takes a leadership role on our measurement and verification team.

Jason Dodge

Design Engineer
John W. Danforth Company

Jason is responsible for the design of mechanical and plumbing systems ranging from higher education and healthcare to multi-family housing and commercial office space. He is also responsible for ensuring that designs are in compliance with local, state, federal and customer requirements. Jason performs code reviews on a project-by-project basis and regularly completes compliance documents for our customers. Jason has been with the Danforth Team for just over four years and brings over 14 years of industry expertise. He is an active ASHRAE, ASPE and International Code Council member. Jason is a New York State Code Enforcement Official, CPDT and a LEED AP. Jason studied Drafting and Design at ITT Technical Institute where he earned his Associate’s Degree.
